YOUR WEDDING
We don't want to tell you what you want, we don't want to create a package for you and then help you go through the motions. Instead we will meet with you and share ideas. We will then handle all the logistics, all the to-ing and fro-ing, all of the suppliers and middle men.
We want to create the wedding with you that you would have created if only you had the time and resources at your finger tips - as if you weren't stuck in the office day in day out!
Here are some examples of the type of thing we get approached with…
The TRADITIONAL Wedding
Often couples want the traditional feel to their big day. You know what we mean… the grand venue, the reception with all the trimmings, the ostentatious flowers, the white dress… (well maybe not the white dress!)
Our contacts for the Traditional ceremony include…

Kew Gardens, a World Heritage Site, has a variety of stunning wedding venues for you to celebrate your special day.
Kew Gardens offers a variety of venues licensed for civil ceremonies and can accommodate from 80 to 400 guests depending on which venue and what month.
Cambridge Cottage is a beautiful listed building and former royal residence.
The beautifully-restored Orangery, where guests can wander outside onto the large terrace to admire spectacular vistas, with lights illuminating the trees at night. If you're feeling extravagant, then you can wine, dine and dance the night away among the tropical plants of the Temperate House. Alternatively during the summer months, a semi-permanent structure is built next to Kew Palace, the Thames and overlooking one of Kew's lakes.
Whatever venue you choose, your wedding will help Kew to continue their valuable plant conservation and life-saving research work.

Fresh red roses and white chocolate curls…just one of the examples of Melanie Ferris cakes available. This modern take on a classic three-tire wedding cake accentuates the gloriousness of the traditional wedding venue as well as adding a fresh and vibrant approach to your day. The cake should be used as one of your focal points, not just pushed into a corner and sat there waiting to be eaten. You can bring it into the forefront of the celebrations, co-ordinating it with the colour scheme and even making it just as fabulous as the architecture of your wedding venue.
The possibilities are endless!

www.giveit.co.uk
The Alternative Wedding List is an online wedding list service, where instead of toasters and kettles, couples can sign-up to a list that contains gifts of donations to various charities. Passing on 100% of the value of donations made through the service to the charities, we then reclaim Gift Aid (that's an extra 28% of the value of eligible donations) from the Inland Revenue. Using some of this to fund the operation (website, card processing, management, advertising) and our target is to use less than half of this money. Whatever's left also gets passed onto the charities.
Gifts range in price from £10 upwards. Each gift purchased represents a donation to the charity whose gift a guest has selected. Example gifts include to pay for an activity day for children living with HIV.
Gifts of donations of a variety of values to more charities including Alzheimer Scotland, FARM-Africa, PDSA, Samaritans, Shelter, St. John Ambulance, Stonewall, Suzy Lamplugh Trust, Terrence Higgins Trust, Wales Air Ambulance and War on Want are included on the various lists available.
